Partnerships

Responding to the needs of the community has always been a priority for CNC. We strive to develop and implement partnerships that support our mission, create innovative collaborations, and avoid duplication of services.

  • Alliance for Kids: CNC is an active partner in a statewide initiative through the Colorado Department of Human Services and the Colorado Department of Education to develop innovative approaches for high quality full-day, full-year programs for limited income families. This partnership allows CNC to be part of the School Readiness Initiative which includes participation in Qualistar.
  • Colorado Springs School District #11 partners with CNC to provide Colorado Preschool Program (CPP) spaces in two classrooms to provide full-day, full-year options for families with children at risk for school failure.
  • Court Care provides free child care to children (6 weeks-14 years old) whose parents, guardians or caregivers must conduct court-related business in the 4th Judicial District. For more info: Email courtcare@cscnc.org or call 719-442-1972.
  • Community Partnership for Child Development/Head Start (CPCD) and CNC work together to ensure that Head Start eligible families have access to high quality early education and family support programs.
  • Harrison School District Two: CNC at Sand Creek serves children ages 2 1/2 to 7 at Sand Creek Elementary School. CNC's before and after school program, Dare to Dream, operates in four District Two schools.
  • Smart Start Colorado is a statewide alliance of early childhood partnerships working together to create a comprehensive system for children birth to eight and their families.
  • Volunteers of America: CNC partners with the Foster Grandparents Program to add an intergenerational component and provide links with senior volunteers to enhance our overall program quality.
