court care El Paso County District and County Courts see an average of 100 children a day accompanying parents and guardians into the courtroom. In this environment, they witness life's harshest realities, sense the stress and fear around them and often, understandably, pull parental and judicial attention away from proceedings causing disruptions to the overflowing system dockets.

In an effort to protect children from these inappropriate situations, Court Care for the Pikes Peak Region was established as a non-profit organization in 2003 to provide child care for children whose parents or guardians have court-related business.

Court Care serves the Fourth Judicial District and Colorado Springs Municipal Court and is managed and operated by the Child Nursery Centers. Since its inception, Court Care has served thousands of area children and families.
